One of the Flower Girls

 
As promised, more wedding pics. This little jewel is a pic of one of the beautiful little "jewels". One of two flower girls. This is the bride's neice. The pearls were a gift on her first birthday. What a neat gift, that she will probably wear on her own wedding day! The other flower girl was the brother's little sis. I will post her later. This pic was not a great one cause the adults were tossing their hair with eyes closed and such, so I cropped and fixed it this way and I love it. What a sweet little girl! More to come... I hope!

More Of The Sisters

 
I thought that you might like to see more of the sisters. Aren't they pretty? I think that each one of them has their own unique look. When I was making this one, their dad was standing nearby and said, "Ahhhh! My girls!" It was so sweet. I have so many pics that I want to share. I just can't figure out how to share them. I wish that I had more patience with computers and a lot more knowledge. I hope that you enjoy seeing more of the sisters than just their feet! I will try to share some others real soon!

Feet Photo Contest

 
This pic was made a few weeks ago at a wedding that I photographed. Yea...I said wedding. The thought of it still makes me want to fall apart. I couldn't believe that she was giving ME the opportunity to capture one of the most important days of her life! I got the job through a friend (Thanks Kelli!). The bride wanted a photographer who was learning (hoping to save some money). Pretty scary, since I can only edit through Picasa and not through one of the great Photoshop softwares. Well, I gave her a great deal and off we went. This pic is of her and her sister's feet. They didn't know that I was making it. They thought that I was holding the camera down to check my light. lol Feet is the theme in this week's "I heart faces" contest. Water Boy

 
Bryce played in the sprinkler the other evening when Bryan got home from work. He had his "dry" clothes on. Bryan was entertaining him outside, while we waited for my parents, who were coming for dinner. Needless to say, after sliding down the slide, swinging in the swing, and running after the ball, this was a refreshing treat. He let the water hit him directly in the face, and YES... he tried to stop it with his hands a time or two. What fun! Straight to the tub after a quick strip down in the garage, and a naked streak (while giggling) running through the house! Bryce that is... NOT BRYAN! lol

First Haircut

 
This collage is of the big day that we lost our curl in the back otherwise known to some as the "rat tail". It was cute if it was curly, but if it decided to be straight, it looked like a rat tail. lol He did pretty well with the whole ordeal. Janice, the lady who cut it, is a family friend and my former pastor's wife. Her husband also married Bryan and I almost 10 years ago. They are really sweet. My former pastor had been working in the yard and came in while we were there to cool off from the Bamalama heat. Dr. Reaves was so sweet and silly to entertain Bryce to take his mind off of things. Bryce cried a little, but recovered quickly to Dr. Reaves's silly antics. He let Bryce rub his head and talked to him. We also discovered that velcro rollers are lots of fun and a "wagonwheel" cracker solves many problems. Bryce actually let her take the clippers to his neck. I think that he wanted to play with them. Boys! Well, the little curl now resides in a plastic bag in my scrapbook room, longing for a place to rest. I have just started his scrapbook. I haven't even made it past the day that he was born! Maybe when he is 18 I will have a place to put the little curl! That can wait! I am having too much fun and time passes too quickly. He is such a Big Boy! I love you my brave little punkedoo! Little Drummer Boy

 
My Little Drummer Boy has something to celebrate! That's right. He had his first haircut Friday. Pics to follow soon. This one was made before the "new do". He is officially a "Big Boy" now. I thought that I would hate cutting off his cute little curl, but I adore his new cut. Not everyone would notice, because it is not like he has dark, gobs of hair, but I love his little neck showing now. My husband made the pictures of his first haircut and the light was all wierd, and he is a "full auto" man. He was also trying to video at the same time. The video is all over the place. lol The pics are plentiful, but blurry and some are just plain weird with me or the beautician with one eye closed. lol But, hey! They are like our family... definitely not perfect or professional. lol Haircut pics to follow in the next few days! Thanks to my hubby for coming with us and making pics!

My Blue-Eyed Boy (with Pooh and Tigger Glasses)

 
I made this pic of Bryce today, playing in his sunglasses. He adores them! He will bring them to you, stand really still for you to put them on, then giggle a little evil giggle, and off he goes to play! He danced and played in them for a while this afternoon. lol He is one silly boy! He pulls them down like this and looks over them at you. I wish that I could have captured more, but I was playing around with the natural light and have alot to learn about my camera. I love it all the same though! Hope that everyone is having a great summer and soaking up lots of fun! We have been quite busy! Bryce does not have more blood work until the later part of this month and we don't see the specialist until August! Yay, no needles! But we are behind on our shots and check-ups, because his pediatrician wanted to wait until he was more stable. Gotta do that soon! Yuck! We are heading to the beach at the end of the month for a fun vacation (one much deserved by our little Bryce-man). Maybe we will just have one crummy day and do shots, MD visit and lab work all at once. OH my sweet baby, if only I could do it for you.....
